The Holidays are in full swing and a new year is fast approaching. Looking back on this year’s housing market both in the Charlotte area and Bailey’s Glen, prices rose and sales were and remain brisk. This has been fueled by a good economy and low interest rates. Rates are predicted to gradually rise post-election and will not have an immediate impact on home sales.
In Bailey’s Glen there are six privately owned homes on the market with Realtors , and one Spec home offered by the builder.. Most of the 16 recently released lots are under contract. We now have 239 homes occupied and 46 under construction.
In The Forest at Bailey’s Glen, the first 21 lots have been released for purchase with 8 having been sold. These larger lots are for the Classic and Premier Plans. The first building permits have been approved and construction has or will commence shortly.
At our Bailey’s Glen annual HOA meeting while there was not a lot of new information provided, we were given reassurances on both improvements in progress as well as those yet to come in our community. When Bailey’s Glen and the Forest are complete we will share 3 pools (one heated), 2 clubhouses, and a Bistro type restaurant as well as other amenities.
